What is 12inchSkinz?

12inchSkinz is for Dj's by Dj's. We specifically market to mobile and club Dj's all over the world.

IMAGE IS EVERYTHING. 12inchskinz wants to you look your BEST. We are here to market you, the Dj, to help express and promote yourself. The most important rule in the game is IMAGE, and it’s EVERYTHING. From the pineapple to the big apple, 12inchSkinz is illes't in the game.

Are 12inchSkinz easy to apply?
Yes, they are easy to apply. They are custom designed and cut specific for each hardware model. 12inchskinz is made from a specialty vinyl engineered with a permanent pressure sensitive adhesive featuring X-Scape bubble free technology. This X-Scape technology material prohibits its adhesive from sticking to itself in the event of a material fold during an installation.

Are 12inchSkinz easy to remove?
Yes, it is very easy to remove the Skin, should you choose to do so. Once removed, however, the skin will never again adhere quite as well as the first time.

Will applying a 12inchSkin void my device warranty?
Typically, the application of a Skin will not void a device warranty, but we recommend reviewing your warranty to be certain. 12inchSkinz shall not be responsible for replacing any devices due to paint chipping, peeling, or removal of any coating of devices due to removal of skins. Although skins are typically easily removed from devices that are painted with adequate paint curing, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the device being skinned has adequate paint curing before applying their skin. 12inchSkinz will not be responsible for any damage caused by customization that was not already covered under your warranty.

How long will my 12inchSkin last?
All of our Skins are made out of durable calendared vinyl, and printed using 4 color solvent (smudge proof) inks, and coated with a durable clear coating for additional protection.

How are 12inchSkinz applied?

Step 1 - Read instructions with the skin before beginning.

Step 2 - Clean your hardware

1.The surface of your hardware needs to be as clean as possible.

2.First wipe the device surfaces where the Skin will be applied, with a slightly damp cloth (micro fiber cloth preferred). Do not get water directly on your device.

3.Let dry completely.

4.Next wipe the surface of your hardware with a micro fiber cloth slightly dampened with 90%+ rubbing alcohol. This removes finger print grease.

5.Let dry completely.

Step 3 -Examine your 12inchSkin

1.Look at your Skin and how it is cut.

2.The thin sections are delicate and can stretch and/or break if you do not handle the Skin with care during the application process.

3.Use caution when removing the Skin from the backing paper.

4.Avoid stretching any part of the Skin, especially the narrow parts.* Stretching the Skin will cause it not to fit the device precisely.* The adhesive side of the skin MAY stick to itself and may cause damage to the Skin.

Step 4- Applying the skin

4.Line it up over the top of your device as closely as possible. A good guide is to find a couple of buttons on your device close together and start applying the skin there.

5.Carefully apply the Skin to the device making sure it lines up with all the button openings and curves on your device.

6.If the Skin does not line up correctly, carefully peel it off and try again. Make sure not to stretch the Skin or it will not fit properly.

7.As you apply the skin to the device, firmly press the Skin from the middle to the edges, pushing any air bubbles out from under the skin. The skin is not permanent until surface pressure is applied.

How do I remove bubbles in my Skin?
All hardware12inchSkinz are made from a specialty vinyl that allows air pockets to escape through a patented "air channel" adhesive backing. If you find bubbles or creases after installing control vinyl label, you may slowly peel the Skin back up and carefully reapply. Keep repeating until the Skin is in its proper place and is smooth. In some cases, poking the bubble gently with a sharp pin will allow the air to escape. This should only be attempted as a last resort.
IMPORTANT: Be careful not to lift the skin too quickly or you may stretch or tear the Skin.

What is your lead time?
Lead time is 1-5 days (as EVERYTHING IS MADE TO ORDER). Most orders will ship in 2-4 days.

What is your payment method?
We accept online orders using credit cards or your PayPal account as the payment method.

Returns are accepted within 30 days from your order date.  Products must be returned unused and in the exact condition they were when received.
If we ship you the wrong product or product is delivered damaged (not fault of shipping service) we will replace the product free of charge once product is shipped back to 12inchSkinz and inspected.
If you order wrong product, there will be a 20% restock fee on returns. 
CUSTOM skinz are NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-REPLACEABLE unless shipped wrong or damaged.
For questions, replacement or returns, you must call 1-918-991-9225. Please have your order number in hand for the agent to handle your questions promptly.
For replacement or returns you will be issued an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Once you have received your RMA number you will need to return the skin to:

Due to the unique nature of the printing process the exact color and design displayed on the website may not be printed on the final product. 12inchSKinz reserves the right to change the composition of any selected device design to insure a quality product. This may involve cropping,stretching, or skewing the design image to optimize the overall layout.

WARRANTY

Returns are accepted within 30 days from your order date.  Products must be returned unused and in the exact condition they were when received.
